Talent
Each Miss MOKH contestant will be allowed a twelve (12) minute personal interview with the panel of judges. Each contestant will have 45 seconds to close her interview. Each contestant will be scored on her ability to fulfill the responsibilities of "the job", her presence, her personality, and her personal appearance and beauty. The Private Interview accounts for 25% of the contestant's total score.
Areas of Competition
Private Interview
Each Miss MOKH contestant will model a swimsuit of her choosing. The swimsuit may be one-piece or two-piece, but must be pageant appropriate and in good taste. The Lifestyle and Fitness in swimsuit is designed to see how well the contestant maintains a lifestyle of good physical health, whether she meets the public expectation of a titleholder, and whether or not she has the confidence needed to be a titleholder. The contestant’s drive, energy, and presence are to be likewise considered. The Swimsuit Competition accounts for 15% of the contestant's total score.
MISS My Old Kentucky Home
Each contestant will be allowed 90 seconds to showcase her talent. Each contestant will be scored on talent selection in relation to the contestant's personality and skills, technical skill level, stage presence, and overall performance. The Talent Competition accounts for 35% of the contestant's total score.
All accompaniment music MUST be received by October 1, 2010. You must bring an additional copy of your music on pageant day. Accompaniment music must be submitted on CD.
Talent requests will be granted on a "first come, first serve" basis. No duplications of talent will be allowed.
Evening Wear
Each Miss MOKH contestant will model evening wear of her choosing. Each contestant will be scored on sense of confidence, personality, stage presence, posture, carriage, and grace. The Evening Wear Competition counts for 20% of the contestant's total score.
Each contestant will be asked an on-stage question. Questions will be of a general nature concerning pop-culture, the contestant's Fact Sheet, and/or the contestant's Platform. Each contestant will be scored on charisma, stage presence, personality, and ability to be a spokeswoman for the Miss MOKH Organization. The extemporaneous responses to on-stage questions count for 5% of the contestant's total score.
